Project context
The Factory PT wanted a film that showed more than equipment and exercises. The real story was the atmosphere inside the Botany gym and the personalised way its team supports every member. Members follow custom training schedules, train with a coach at least once a week and can use the gym independently whenever they like. That relationship was easy to see on the shoot. People who were already training wanted to get involved, the trainers never had to manufacture energy, and the high-fives, laughter and hugs at the end of sessions all happened naturally. I love training myself, so this was exactly the kind of environment I enjoy filming: energetic, positive and full of people getting more out of life. We also made the soundtrack personal. Dimitri's favourite song became the track for the finished video, giving the film another connection to the owner and the personality of the gym. The aim was to think beyond a standard gym promo and create something distinctive, professional and true to the people in the room.
What I delivered
Outcome
The finished video feels alive because the energy was already there. It shows members working hard, trainers paying attention and the easy connection between people who genuinely enjoy being in the same space. The photography extended that story with clean trainer portraits, active coaching images and extra frames for The Factory PT's website and social channels. Bringing the film, team portraits and social content together in one shoot gave the business a consistent visual library rather than a collection of disconnected pieces. Most importantly, the work feels like The Factory PT: personal, professional, upbeat and different from a generic gym advertisement.
