Project context
Deicorp is a leading Sydney property developer and builder, and I have worked with them for years across multiple developments throughout New South Wales. One of the most rewarding events I photograph for Deicorp is their hard hat tours. These tours give purchasers the chance to step inside a development while it is still being built, see the construction progress, walk through finished apartments and start to picture the home they will soon own. There is always such a genuine feeling in the room. Buyers have already been through the process of purchasing off the plan, putting down their deposit and following the project from a distance. The tour is often the first time the future home feels physical and close. As a property owner myself, I understand how exciting and emotional that moment can be. The brief was to document the full experience with care: the welcome, the hard hats, the site briefings, the apartment walkthroughs, the views, the smiles and the small reactions that show people beginning to connect with a place that will become part of their lives.
What I delivered

The finished gallery gives Deicorp more than a record of a construction update. It shows the customer experience around the build: purchasers being welcomed on site, guided safely through the development and given a meaningful first look at the apartments they have invested in. The images balance the scale of the project with the human side of buying property. There are wide construction scenes, branded site moments, team-led walkthroughs and, most importantly, the emotional reactions of people seeing their future home take shape. These shoots are close to my heart because they are about more than buildings. They are about trust, anticipation and the next chapter in someone's life. For Deicorp, the photography helps communicate that they are with purchasers through the journey, not just at the point of sale.
