Project context
Photographing Coba Point began with a boat trip across Berowra Waters, the only way to reach this remarkable off grid property. Every bolt, screw and building element used to create the home had to arrive by water, making its collection of pavilions on the steep sandstone shoreline even more impressive. George needed a complete visual story for the property's Airbnb listing and architectural award submissions. I worked through the beautiful morning light, photographing the architecture from the water, hillside, decks and interiors, then used drone photography to show how the home, private jetty and surrounding bushland sit together. Powered by solar energy and designed to operate off grid, the property is also available to rent as Pagoda Point.
What I delivered
Outcome
The completed collection brings together the property's architecture, off grid character and rare boat access setting. Wide aerial frames establish the scale and isolation of the site, while the interior and deck images show the comfort, craftsmanship and uninterrupted water views guests experience. George received a versatile visual library for the Airbnb listing, promotional use and architectural award submissions, along with a drone video.
