Project context
Allied World is a long-standing client, and it is always a pleasure to photograph their team. Over the years I have captured their headshots, group portraits and team photography, as well as their events. For this Melbourne Cup celebration, the brief was to document the day aboard Ghost II in a way that felt polished, relaxed and full of life. With Sydney Harbour as the backdrop, I captured the arrival, the Allied World details, food and entertainment, candid conversations, portraits, the race itself and the moments of celebration that followed. The aim was a genuinely useful event gallery that reflected the people, hospitality and energy of the day.
What I delivered
Outcome
The final gallery captures a brilliant day on the water: a warm, connected team, a memorable Sydney setting and plenty of Melbourne Cup spirit. It gives Allied World a strong set of images that feel true to the occasion while also showing the care they put into bringing their people together. For me, it was another lovely shoot with a client I have enjoyed working with for years.
